I dropped the ball last week. Apologies. Husband and I are out of town, and there was so much to do in preparing to be away for a week that a few of those things just didn’t get done in time.

John, fortunately, is picking up my slack.

This week we’re on The Return of Jesus Christ. One of my favorite topics. Sometimes I just sit, eyes closed, and imagine what it might be like: the sky splits, the sound of a trumpet, the dead rise, and believers all around you are transformed and taken up to meet the Lord in the air. The most anticipated wedding day or delivery day couldn’t match the excitement and relief.

John’s hosting the conversation this week (again), and I love how both he and Torrey focus more on the believer’s preparation for that Day than anything else. We can discuss and debate the timing, but the timing doesn’t matter if we’re not ready.
